The flower girls…

Wedding make up is normally light and traditional. Yesterday was anything but traditional for Elena Marie Ely’s flower girls, Whitney Jardine and Kelly Framel. My dear friend Whitney Jardine booked Jordan Dudley (visit him at Ricky Hodge Salon) to style hair and me to do makeup applications for herself, Kelly Framel and Erin Framel.

This wasn’t a typical wedding so when I saw Jordan coloring Whitney’s extensions green and Kelly making flower head pieces from fresh festive flowers I knew prep was going to be so much fun!

The Body Shop eye makeup remover, black Duo and Champagne…why not?

Jordan used these extensions in Whitney’s hair and gave her a fish tail side braid.

Les fleurs for the flower girls…er, ladies.

Okay can I add that while I was doing Kelly’s makeup she was working on a few blog posts for The Glamourai, then made two beautiful head pieces for herself and Whitney, and then ate lunch all within an hour! Girl is a machine.

Jordan styled Kelly’s hair by giving her big and fun crazy curls.

Erin gets a teased out up-do with flowers and a butterfly.

Last looks on Erin.

Erin’s gorgeous Missoni dress paired with a borrowed necklace piece Kelly restored.

Speaking of necklace… here’s just a small fraction of Whitney’s collection.

“Good times” according to Kelly with Miguel Rangel… Miguel if you’re reading this: we need your company and dinner asap! (Click here to read one of his recipes.) <3

Random and looking down… I love my Bee flats! (A thoughtful gift from friend Grace Weeden.)

Ladies on the gooo.

Products I used on both flower girls:
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation & concealer & HD Powder, M.A.C. Plummage, Deep Truth and Kid eyeshadow, Orgasm by NARS, and M.A.C. Love Nectar lipglass. For the complete list/application email me at Jax@modmodemakeup.com

Isn’t Whitney’s fish tail braid so rad?!

Jordan applied M.A.C. N3 face powder, Love Rush, and Blunt to himself.

**Several years ago I met Kelly Framel during a photo shoot for an aspiring ACC photographer. It was so lovely reconnecting, small world. Here’s a photo from that shoot.
